Reminder: If you haven’t already filed your DWC005, the DWC (Division of Workers’ Compensations) is offering a temporary grace period for workers’ compensation reporting.
According to the DWC, Texas employers who do not provide workers’ compensation insurance must submit and timely file two types of forms to the DWC. If you are an employer who fits this category and have not met reporting requirements in the past—the DWC is allowing you to report between February 1 and April 30 without any penalties.
